September 25, Mill Race Race 5K Run/Walk and 15 K Run, Columbus, IN  

Courses USATF certified, paved roads winding through downtown neighborhoods with several partially shaded areas. The course offers varied terrain to challenge you and loops past the start/finish line to offer an excellent opportunity for spectators to watch.

Race Day Schedule
Race Day registration begins at 7:00am ending at 8:45am (race start times determines when event entry desk closes).
5k walk start time is 8:00am
15k run stat chem is 8:15 am
5k run start time is 9:00am
Kids Run start time is 10:15am inside Mill Race Park
Award Ceremony will begin at approximately 9:15am

Children participating in the Kids Run must enter with a parent or guardian's signature. On line registration is available for $1 per child. You may also enter the day of the event inside Mill Race Park for FREE.

On line entry includes a small processing fee. Sorry, no refunds.  On line early entry period ends on Friday, September 17, 2010.  Race day entries will be accepted at Hotel indigo beginning at 7:15am.  Race day entry fee is $20/30 -- no discounts apply.

2nd, Hudson Family Park Half Marathon & 5K Run, Portland, IN. 

This half marathon & 5K run promotes healthy activities to help people get on track with fitness. The Jay Community Center believes that participation in such events enhances individual’s commitments to a healthy lifestyle thereby strengthening our communities’ families.

Course; The race will begin and end at the beautiful Hudson Family Park located on South Wayne Street in Portland, Indiana. The race route is a fast, flat, & accurately measured course that will go through the streets of Portland and surrounding rural areas. All parking is easily within walking distance of the race start/finish.

3rd, Eagle Creek Trail 1/2 & Full Marathon, Indianapolis, IN

The out and back course is 6.55 miles in length, Half Marathoners will run this once and Full course racers will complete the course twice. It begins at Eagles Crest following the trails to the south, crosses the causeway on 56th Street (street will be closed) and then north into the trail system on the east side of the park.

Register on line by September 22, 2010.  Those registered in advance receive a LIVE UNITED Road Race T-shirt! Complete paper registration form and mail with a check no later than September 15, 2010—Jennings County United Way, PO Box 446, North Vernon, IN 47265. Day of the Road Race t-shirts are included “while supplies last” -registrations after the above dates are not guaranteed a t-shirt.

23rd , Arc Center for Excellence 
5K Fun Run/Walk, Columbus, Indiana

The race venue is at Doctors Park, located North of  the  intersection of Hwy 31 and Central Avenue, adjacent to Renner Ford Honda.    Registration is from 7:00-8:00 a.m.   The race starting time is 8:15 a.m.  The registration fee is $20.00 and includes a T-shirt.   All proceeds will go to the Arc of Bartholomew County.   Click Here for Information

6th, Monumental Marathon & 5k, Indianapolis, IN

The course is flat and fast and a good Boston Marathon qualifier and starts and finishes near the Indiana State Capitol Building.  Course highlights include beautiful monuments, Lucas Oil Stadium (home of the Indianapolis Colts), the Arts Garden, the Mass Ave cultural district, beautiful neighborhoods, Broad Ripple, Butler University, the Indianapolis Museum of Art and more.
